Wnat to get an idea of how much bottom up work is going on in government to try to get our Green going. Check out the United States Conference of Mayors where you can find out if your mayor was one of the 780 mayors that signed the Mayor's Climate Agreement, you can view the letter they sent to Congress, see who won the 2008 Mayors' Climate Award or get the Highlights from Climate Summit. Also you can see a report that lists out, city by city in the US all of the Green projects proposed and underway.
Its good to be reminded that we have local and state government to help support the Green Movement even when the Federal Government does not support it. Look for mayorial groups like this one to get more attention from the new administration - regardless of who wins.
